There are many different landforms in Alaska . Lakes, rivers, glaciers, mountains and more! You may be familiar with some of these mountains such as ... Mount Hunter, Bashful Peak, Pavlof Volcano and Flattop Mountain . So were you familiar with any of the mountains? If not, you might be familiar with some of the rivers! Come on let’s go! There is the Mulchatna River, the Yukon River and the Togiak River to explore! Where are we going next? To the glaciers or maybe the islands!? Forests it is! The Tongass National Forest or the biggest national forest in the USA? Just kidding, they are the same thing! Off to the islands! There is Rat Island, Atka Island or Bobrof Island, so many islands! Don’t forget the York Plateaus! Let’s head to the lake! Wait, what lake? Wonder Lake, Auke Lake or maybe Portage Lake? Yes! Now is my favorite part! Glaciers! There are Hubbard Glacier, the Grewingk Glacier, Matanuska Glacier and Yale Glacier. Alaska has so many landforms to enjoy!

Alaska's climate has a lot of things that can happen. Like avalanches, several may happen a year. They also have earthquakes and the occasional tsunami. In the summer, it can get to about 60 degrees! But down to - 30 degrees in the winter. About 74.6 inches of snow and 36.5 inches of rain each year.
